Evaluation

At the start you said what success would look like to you – were you successful?

I was overall successful however, the finished product could have looked much better but it did follow the path I wanted. I also only used coloured shapes with a cut out Pac Man without having to draw anything except for the squares that I drew on the background. Overall I was pleased of the outcome and how the sound effects helped improve the video even more.

What was the hardest part?

The hardest part for me personally was getting the correct sizes of draw out squares on the background as well as getting the correct size of the cut out squares in order to fit into the squares perfectly.

What was the most enjoyable part?

The most enjoyable part was the editing process by adding sound effects towards my stop motion just because, it livens up my overall project rather than a silent video. Another part that was enjoyable was my creative thinking and creating it into an actual stop motion as it was successful.

How did you improve your animation skills?

I improved my animation skills by implementing multiple sound effects for each section of movements. I also improved my animation skills by having an abstract which was Pac Man by coming into my animation and destroying the game. I also improved my animation skills by using an stop motion app an using that for my stop motion edit.

What changes to your workflow could you make in future projects to improve your outcome?

In order to change my work flow for my future project for animations, I would need to start and complete the animation project much sooner than leaving it on the last day whilst rushing throughout the stop motion design. I would suggest my self to do a proper schedule.

How could you improve your presentation skills (get feedback if you haven’t yet)?

You did lots of work before beginning your animation, included in this was lots of research, trying out animation techniques etc. Which research was the most useful (explain)?

The most research
